(FR) Espace Urbain / ISAC ouvre un poste d’enseignant titulaire-chef de département et un poste d’assistant à l’enseignement pour l’année universitaire 2019-2020. L’appel est dédié à des candidatures individuelles pour chaque poste, cependant nous accueillons des candidatures communes qui formeraient les deux postes comme un duo.
Espace Urbain / ISAC looks for a new head of the department (professeur titulaire), and a new teaching assistant for the academic year 2019-2020.

(FR) Espace Urbain / ISAC ouvre un poste d’enseignant titulaire-chef de département et un poste d’assistant à l’enseignement pour l’année universitaire 2019-2020. L’appel est dédié à des candidatures individuelles pour chaque poste, cependant nous accueillons des candidatures communes qui formeraient les deux postes comme un duo.
Créé en 2012, l’Institut Supérieur des Arts et des Chorégraphies (Espace Urbain / ISAC) de l’ArBA EsA forme des artistes aux pratiques du corps et de la danse, comme moyens de recherche et d’expression pour leurs créations artistiques. Espace Urbain / ISAC est un département de danse, performance et chorégraphie au sein de l’Académie Royale des Beaux-arts de Bruxelles, occupant un espace entre les arts chorégraphiques et les arts plastiques. Le département forme des artistes qui utilisent le corps comme médium principal d’expression et qui envisagent leur pratique dans une approche étendue de chorégraphie. La formation Espace Urbain / ISAC est basée sur une pédagogie dans laquelle la pratique physique se mêle à la réflection plastique et théorique; et où le corps devient outil de réflexion, et l’art, instrument de lecture du présent.
L’enseignant.e titulaire - chef de département (f/h/x):
— est chargé.e de définir la future pédagogie du cursus Espace Urbain / ISAC
— est responsable du fonctionnement du département
— suit et encadre le travail des étudiants- définit le programme et les artistes invité.e.s pour chaque année
— gère le budget des activités du département
— coordonne les relations avec les institutions bruxelloises et internationales
— définit la politique du département
Compétences requises
— éducation / niveau master dans une pratique artistique, dans le domaine de la performance ou de la chorégraphie (si le diplôme n’est pas du domaine des arts plastiques, visuels et de l’espace il faut demander une notoriété auprès de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles)
— connaissances du champ contemporain de la chorégraphie, des arts visuels et du spectacle
— connaissances permettant de développer un réseau de collaborations et de partenariats avec des institutions artistiques locales et internationales.- expérience en pédagogie
— compétences administratives- parler couramment le français et l’anglais
— une équivalence (auprès de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles) sera requise pour un diplôme non-belge / expérience utile hors enseignement (auprès de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles)
Le poste de chef de département est de 6/12 (poste à mi-temps, équivalent à 2 jours par semaine). Elle / il / iels travaille en étroite collaboration avec le responsable artistique d’ISAC et coordinateur artistique de l’Académie (Enzo Pezzella) et l’enseignant.e assistant.e. — est en charge de l'encadrement des étudiants
— définit le programme avec le responsable du département
— coordonne la relation avec les espaces et les institutions liés à Espace Urbain / ISAC
— coordonne l'accès et l'utilisation du matériel technique pour les étudiants
— est chargé.e de production des différentes activités du programme ISAC (master classes, festival)
— est chargé.e de la communication (site internet, facebook) de l'ISAC
— coordonne Open ISAC Compétences requises:
— éducation / maîtrise dans une pratique artistique, dans le domaine de la performance ou de la chorégraphie (si le diplôme n’est pas du domaine des arts plastiques, visuels et de l’espace il faut demander une notoriété auprès de la Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles)
— expérience en pédagogie

Le poste d’enseignant assistant correspond à 10/20.

Established in 2012, ArBA EsA’s Espace Urbain / ISAC trains artists through body and dance practices as a means of research and expression for their artistic creations. Espace Urbain / ISAC is the dance, performance and choreography department of the Royal Art Academy in Brussels, inhabiting a space between choreography and the visual arts. It forms artists that use both the body and an expanded idea of choreography as primary tool of expression. Espace Urbain / ISAC is based on an a pedagogy in which daily physical involvement mingles with both visual art and theoretical reflections; a context where the body becomes a tool for reflection, and art an instrument of thinking the present. Head of the Department (f/m/x) is — in charge of defining the future pedagogy of Espace Urbain / ISAC
— being responsible for the functioning of the department
— follow and mentoring the work of the students
— defining the program and the invited artists for each year
— managing the budget for the activities of the department
— coordinating the relations with other Brussels-based and international institutions

Requirements
— education / master in an artistic practice, in the field of performance or choreography (If the diploma is not in the field of plastic and visual arts and space, you must ask for a notoriety with the Wallonia-Brussels Federation)
— knowledge about contemporary choreography, visual and performing arts
— knowledge to develop a network of collaborations and partnerships with local and international art institutions.

— an equivalence (from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation) of the master diploma for diplomas obtained outside Belgium or an equivalence (from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation) of any relevant experience outside teaching
The position of Head of the Department is 6/12 (half-time position, equivalent to 2 days per week).
