Deep Encounter with Soa Ratsifandrihana I JAN 13-17, 2025 @ Studio ISAC

Soa Ratsifandrihana and ISAC, together explored performativity, creation from the performer's point of view, and the dialogue that takes place between the narrative of artistic works and the narrative of their production. At times, we'll improvise in a sincere relationship with the other, with ourselves, dancing like children. 

Soa Ratsifandrihana is a Malagasy-French dancer and choreographer based in Brussels. After dancing for several years with Rosas, James Thierrée and Salia Sanou, Soa presents in 2021 her first solo in Brussels, entitled g r oo v e. In 2024, she presents a diptych made of Rouge cratère a radio creation, and the show Fampitaha, fampita, fampitàna premiering in the Kunstenfestivaldesarts. Her work reminds us that our bodies, just like our words, are bearers of stories, and that however we communicate them, they must be told.
